Lastest commission

Here is my lastest commission for Whatcar magazine. I do a monthly illustration for their helpdesk section. This illustration was about a bad experience a reader had with a well known road side repairs company.

Equation problem!

Shirt.woot have taken an interest in my tee Smarter than the average bear which was a very nice surprise. However, it all hinges on the validity of the equation as they apparently have a very knowledgeable audience. I haven't got a clue when it comes to maths and trusted the internet source I took it from which has turned out to be inaccurate. I now wish I'd paid more attention at school or never done a design which strongly features maths! Anyway I've found another equation to use and I'm hoping this one is correct. I just need to check with those wise in the ways of maths or black magic as I shall now always refer to it.

New Threadless purchase

Above is a t-shirt design by Alex Solis which finally came in the post after what seemed like an age. This guy has a whole sack full of talent. I'm hoping by wearing his apparel some of that talent will somehow get transferred to me! Check out his Threadless page. His designs are top draw. No pun intended.

Murder Mystery mail out

It's mail out time again. My least favourite part about being an illustrator. I can see the appeal of getting an agent as it must take away a lot of the hassle. I still prefer the freedom that representing myself offers, but there may come a day when I change my mind.

The illustration came about while watching an Agatha Christie re-run on TV. Just to make things clear this is not how I like to spend my free time. I was unwell and there was nothing on the telebox. Anyway, I thought it'd be funny on the big reveal at the end if the murderer was blatantly right there for everyone to see only it played out as usual with all the characters not having a clue. Once I'd managed to crawl from my bed and start sketching the killer turned into Jason. Hopefully it'll get a good response.

Bye for now!
